Who we are
This website is run by Edoardo Monaco, Prague, Czech Republic (“1Node”, “we”), who is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. Contact: hello@1node.ai.
What we collect and why
- Contact form. Name, work email, company, team size, budget band, timeline and the message you write. The form is stored by our hosting provider and forwarded to our mailbox. We use it to reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Email and WhatsApp. If you write to us directly, we process your contact details and your messages to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits in aggregate. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time on the cookie policy page.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data (IP address, browser, time of request) to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Fonts and icons are served from this website itself, so loading a page does not send your data to any other provider.
Who processes it for us
- Netlify, Inc., USA: website hosting and contact form submissions
- Google Ireland Ltd.: our mailbox (Google Workspace), and Google Analytics only with your consent
- WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.: if you contact us on WhatsApp
Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project, including the copy of the form kept by our hosting provider, are deleted within 12 months. Data related to a contract is kept for as long as the contract runs, then for the period required by accounting and tax law. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@1node.ai. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in the Czech Republic the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz), or the authority where you live, for example the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy.

We update this page when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
